Different Mediums

This was a cute little picture I created from looking at a lighted figurine plaque I had recieved as a gift from my bestfriend. I changed the order of the dolphins around and played with the coral reefs and fishies. It was also done in acrylics.

When I first got back into art, I had been experimenting with any and all mediums, for a while I was into acrylic painting, but it was very short lived at the time having a 1 year old running around and stealing my supplies I had laid out. ( Talk about not having your regular everyday mess!! )

This was my first semi-real picture I did when I first got back into art in 2006. It was done in watercolors and now resides on the wall as a gift to my Father in law.

This one I did for as a present for my bestfriend for her birthday. It was done using water color pencils and ink.

These two roses were done using soft pastel pencils last year. I was really surprised about the outcome, because I did them while bored with very little light or the reference image to look from. I did have my line drawing done, so I guess that was a plus. We had thunderstorms on the day I did this one and lost power.
